Guidelines for using San Disk Extreme Pro SDHC and SDHC / SDXC Memory ( UHS-1 ) Memory Cards

A  Memory Card must be Initialized to the device you use it on. You do that by Formatting it. If you change Devices you must Reformat  that same Memory Card to your new Device. Make sure your camera’s battery is fully charged before you Format.

  1. Never Format a Memory Card with photos unless you want to Erase all your images to Initialize the Card.

  2. Never mess with the folders within the card ( Rename or Move ) them.

3, Never Format a SDXC Memory Card into a non SDXC device.

4. If your Computer operating system is Windows XP you must update to Windows exFAT  ( KB955704 ) .

5.You Must  use an USB - 3 Card Reader which is compatable to USB - 2 ( At a slower speed with Windows XP ).

I am using a Computer with a Pentium 4 Processor, 120 GB Hard Drive with 2 GB of Ram and Windows XP Operating System ( Updated to exFAT ) and San Disk Extreme Pro SDHC ( UHS-1 )  8GB, 12GB, and a San Disk Extreme Pro 64GB  SDHC / SDXC

( UHS-1 ) Memory Cards with my Fujifilm X!00 camera,  without any problems.
