Does anyone have any idea on how to display greek characters on the Fuze correctly?
The Fuze is great, but not being able to read greek tags is very irritating! Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
I’m not sure, but I’d chance a guess that the firmware can’t understand Greek characters. Are you using the latest firmware for your model? (if you’re using 1.01.somehting, then check to see if that something is .15 - if not, upgrade; if you’re using 2.something, you’re already using the latest firmware for second generation Fuze). If you’re already on the latest firmware, then request this as a feature in a new firmware.
On the sansa clip with firmware 2.01.16F, using id3 tag v2.3 with UTF-16 (default in easytag running on linux) seems to be working fine with Greek characters for me.
