As a happy first-time Clip+ user, here are some of the areas I found where improvements could be made:
Player should remember position/bookmark in all longer tracks/albums, not just in Audiobook/Podcast ones. A lot of material - such as educational lectures and language courses - isn’t marked as an audiobook/podcast (because it isn’t) but would still benefit from the Resume Playback feature.
Headphone cord should have a 90degree 3.5mm plug, not a straight one. When the player is in a pocket, current plug is awkward.
Stock headphones should have a Left/Right indication that can actually be seen in low light conditions. (I ended up attaching a small piece of sticky tape to one to indicate leftness.)
Player occasionally locks up when syncing main memory when micro-SD card is inserted. (Windows Media Player 11.0.5721.5268). Suspect it might be a power issue. Never happens if SD card is removed. (SD card has not been configured to sync.)
A Windows Media Player add-in (or stand-alone program which only updated the ID3 tags) to calculate replay gain would make this feature much more useful / a selling point. Currently I can’t see an easy way to add replay gain information without using a different media player to Microsoft’s stock player. (No comments as to which media player is best, please. I have other reasons for using this.)
The music Artists menu should distinguish between Album Artists and Contributing Artists. I have difficulty locating some compilation classical CDs because each track appears as a separate album and isn’t indexed under the Album Artist.
Player firmware: V01.02.15A

If you read the instructions for ReplayGain use, found here , you’ll see that it was developed for Sansa use using MediaMonkey. While some people have insisted on trying other programs for adding RG tags (foobar2000, etc.) they’ve also complained that it was a hassle. There is no RG add-on that I am aware of for WMP, even WMP12, which is on my computer. Frankly, it’s unusual to see someone that wants to use RG that uses WMP.

I agree as to the right-angle plug suggestion. A post-purchase remedy is to buy a right-angle plug adapter for your phones, at a store like Radio Shack, etc.
For the bookmark feature, you might try putting the other files you want to bookmark in the Podcasts or Audiobooks folder (and perhaps in their own folder there, such as “Lectures”)–that may work to add bookmarking to those files (but I haven’t tried that out).

Remember to only insert or remove a card when the player is off, otherwise the player might lock up.
The Clip+ doesn’t support the album artist tag. Some people use the genre tag as a substitute for the album artist tag. The earphones included with the player should be replaced with better ones if you want to get the most from your player.

Kind of surprising to find the Product Feature Suggestions board buried under the “Off Topic Page” - which explains why I never found it.
If anybody from sandisk is reading this forum , you might want to move the Product Feature Suggestions board to somewhere nearer the products - or reference the forum in each product’s FAQ… (and feel free to move this thread to the appropriate forum too.)

Many of us have posted suggestions, f.e. my list is here. And I’ve seen others trying to centralize it.
There is still a hope that Sandisk people somehow do monitor the requests, at least there is some business logic in that. Even if they don’t — it is better to write what you want, doesn’t take much time.
