Got so sick of my Fuze + and got an i10 and man is it good.

The Fuze+ is a joke of an mp3 player.  While the audio was good and had gapless playback the interface and OS were horrible so I got a Cowon i10.  Sandisk should take notes from them on how to make a good player.  The i10’s sound quality is amazing with the Jetefects 3.0 and BBE+ with gapless playback and their touch pad is outstanding.  Its so easy to use and the responce of the touch pad is smooth and fast.  Load time is faster than the Fuze (which wasn’t slow) and wants you’ve loaded your files it updates the player 10x faster than the Fuze+ that take 30s or more.  At only about $30 more for the 16g i10 its well worth getting over the Dud+.

I’ll be very intrested to know where you can get a i10 for 30$ ! It seems more like 200$

and no sd…

Jiff said $30 more , not $30 total.

Cowon 16GB i10 = $149

Fuze+ 16GB = $101

It’s true the Cowon doesn’t offer an SD card slot, and that’s a big consideration and important feature for many people. However, the Cowon does have a unique & special audio sound effect that would be very hard to pass up . . .

Thats true the i10 doesn’t have an SD slot but 16gs is plenty for me but the J3 has an SD slot though I didn’t need all the other features.  All Cowon’s have Jeteffects 3.0 with BBE+ and that alone makes them worth the switch plus the UI is good but more than that the touch pad blows the Fuze+ away.

To the other guy next time don’t comment unless your sure of what your saying.

Considering the 4GB Fuze+ is only $49, if I wanted a Fuze+, I would buy that, then add a card to it. i was almost tempted to buy a 4GB fuze+, but then decided against it. The Fuze+ might turn out to be very intesresting once Rockbox is perfected for it.

Sandisk’s pricing of its players doesn’t make sense. $50 for a 4GB Clip Zip, and $70 for an 8Gb Clip Zip? 16GB micro SDHC cards are now selling for under $20. Instead of releasing an 8Gb Clip Zip at $70, they should have released a 16GB Clip Zip at $75.

It’s all about demand.  There’s a much larger demand for micro cards that can be used in various devices than for a Zip.

What makes reverb so good?  Is that like surround sound?

Think distorted, multiple echoes . . . .

and I was kidding.

The last exciting player Sandisk released was the Clip+. by releasing just one player a year, the past two years they released a player that was not any better than the Clip+ or Fuze. As technology progresses, we should be seeing better players that are also lower priced. While the Clip Zip isn’t bad, imo it is not as good as the Clip+. i was also expecting the Clip Zip to be priced lower, with the 8GB Clip Zip priced under $50. Since the Clip+ first came out, flash memory prices have decreased greatly.

i hope Sandisk makes an effort to also improve battery life. Imo a tiny player around the size of the Clip+ should have 24 hours of battery life, and a mid sized player should have 50+ hours of battery life. It is frustrating waiting for Sandisk to release something new and exciting. Sandisk’s last two mp3 players were imo disappointing.

Reverb ? Effects ?

Uhhm no thanks lol

I wanna hear my music as it was recorded .

I didnt think people (anyone) liked that crap

weird

no mem card slot in 2011/2012 ? wtf ?

And the card slot is one of the major reasons the start up time slower

it has to read the thing obviously…

Why pay more for less (features) ?

Availablity is a factor as well

Not everyone wants to have to order in a media player

its nice if one of my local store has wahat i want…
