G-raid does not show folder structure in FCPX

Recently bought a G-raid 6tb drive and put some files on it for editing in FCPX. The FCPX import window shows the complete folder structure for my internal scratch, or Mac HD, but the G-raid only shows media files, no folders. I’ve probably set it up incorrectly and would appreciate it if someone could walk me through the process needed to have the drive show folders. The files are AVCHD, and I imported them the same way I have to my internal scratch. They show up as folder there… but not on the G-raid.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this.

Thanks for getting back to me Peter.
Turns out FCPX sees my 6tb drive as a camera, and that’s because of how
I imported the files.
It has nothing to do with the drive itself.
I am going to move everything off of the drive and re structure my
naming convention for the video files, re format the drive and move
everything back.
In theory that should do it.
So, again, thank you very much for you’re interest…
Next time I’ll do a bit more research before I post in a forum!
