G Drive w/ Thunderbolt for Imac very flimsy connection

Hello, just purchased a G-Drive 6T with Thunderbolt drive and very concerned about the flimsy connection into the drive itself. I used the supplied cable and another one I have directly from Apple and it does not sit flush with the product and is very loose and can easily come out. On the other hand the cables sit very snug and tight into the Imac so I cannot imagine that WD Engineers would not have seen this in testing and release a good product with this issue. Am I the only one complaining about this. Please someone come up with a solution. Thanks
