I have been unable to copy files to my Fuze+. So, I tried to format it. Using the format command on the Fuze didn’t solve the problem, so, I used Windows 7 to format it. However, the format failed. It said it cannon write the last block. Now, it won’t turn on. A message that flashes up very fast says something about the file system and formating it. However, nothing works. Is my Fuze+ trash?
I think it might be. I would try contacting Sandisk support. If your device is still under warranty, you might be able to get a free replacement. Also, if you are running a Unix system, there’s a recovery method that might work (see here).
