I’ve copied large files to Fuze+ and probably some system files corrupted. I can’t use it any more! I switch it on and see the message “Loading…” but after a few seconds it restarts. Help me please!
You probably loaded some files which the Fuze+ doesnt like. Connect it to the computer and try to format it. If it doesnt get recognized, turn it off first then hold VOLUME DOWN button while connecting it to the computer. It should then be recognized by your pc and you should be able to format it under My Computer.
Support audio formats: MP3, WMA, Secure WMA, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, AAC, Audible, Podcasts
Thank you! It works.
I copied Ogg and FLAC files. But I can’t remember exactly, probably both of them in the same process. Anyway it works!
Welcome… Make sure your Flac files are 16bit vbr. Ogg should be vorbis vbr
There is some problem yet. What does it mean “16 bit vbr” flac. Mime type is “audio/x-flac”.
OK! I’ve found. vbr is Variable Bit Rate. But how can I find out that a certain flac file 16 bit vbr is or not?
there are no vbr flacs
file is your friend (don’t know if windows has such a tool too):
example:
file /mnt/data/mp3/theatre_of_tragedy/aégis/Theatre\ Of\ Tragedy\ -\ 01\ -\ Cassandra.flac
/mnt/data/mp3/theatre_of_tragedy/aégis/Theatre Of Tragedy - 01 - Cassandra.flac: FLAC audio bitstream data, 16 bit, stereo, 44.1 kHz, 18020436 samples

Here how it looks like.
Download k-lite codec full and it should add an option to check information
Hi Volker!
file is great. This is the output: DOWLAND_Complete Lute Works, Vol. 1_Paul O’Dette.flac: FLAC audio bitstream data, 16 bit, stereo, 44.1 kHz, 169905540 samples. Do you know possibly what the matter is with it?
it is a standard 16bit flac. But I have a problem with a certain flac too. Firmware is super buggy
I’ve just read your topic. I have the same problem. And I’ve bought Fuze+ because its flac and ogg vorbis capability too.
