I plug it in or turn it on and only thing shows is the blue ring, nothing in the view finder. what is wrong?
Make sure the connector snaps in. You should see the Sansa spash screen, then “connected” at the top of the screen with the animated Sanza “pedals”. The battery bar will have a lightening bolt to the left and the white part of the battery icon (denoting amount to be charge)…both will flash. You shouldn’t have to turn it on, it powers on automatically when in charge/sync mode. It will do this regardless of whether your software (WMP-Rhapsody-Media Monkey) is sync’d.

Try turning on the Fuze before you plug the cable in. If that doesn’t work, then try a soft reset (hold power switch up for 15-20 seconds.)
