Too often to count, I have powered on my Fuse+ and put it my cell phone caring case while it is starting-up. I have my ear buds in. Because it take so long to start, I forget that I am waiting for it to start. Some times I have started my hiking, or reading the paper, or driving-- until my book is ready to start. The next thing I hear is a tick indicating that the my player is shutting down. A few times I have restarted the unit only to miss the window of opportunity again.
I accept the start delay.
What would be nice is auto-start or auto-play. It may need to be a settings option. Some may find this a distraction. But for me, it would be a safety feature.
