Hello there,
I have a WD My Book World Edition (white light) behind a router and would like to check whether my set-up is good. I’m able to log on with username and password.
Not being an IT person I’m worried that I’ve opened a big security hole.
This is what I’ve set up in Network > Services:
I was thinking that a custom port would be more secure than the default port. Is this correct?
However, anything else didn’t work.
In addition I’d like to show the firewall rule set up in the router (Netgear DG834 v3):

It seems that I can’t set a custom port on the router.
Is there anything that should be done differrently? Many thanks
