Front LED continuously blinking white indefinitely

My WD MyCloud has its small front LED continuously blinking white indefinitely.

I restarted it, plugged it again. Still it does not show up on my PC

So maybe it is re-indexing. It has many files on it (1,000s, more than 1 TB videos, photos, docs)

So I have been waiting 5 days and it is still blinking away.

What can I do?
Can I SSH into it?
Can I reformat the boot sector?
I am clutching at straws at this stage!

Hello,

Have you try resetting the drive?

There is no reset hole. This I’d not a NAS and only a direct link with USB to the PC (there is no Ethernet). What do I do in that case?

To clarify there is only the mini USB port, the power socket and a power button (that does nothing except pause the blinking light) on the back

Your first sentence is what got me thinking it was a My Cloud drive.

Can you please share the model number of your drive?

Nothing on the front except a sticker saying “WD”, only the image info uploaded on the back, which does not say a lot: D33015, N3565, P/N WDBAAF0015HBK-01 1111D

…and this is the front!
