Does anyone know how to do this? I have alot of data on my external and dont wish to loose it however can not edit, copy or paste new data/ pictures/ documnets on there.
Is there any way I can format the drive to use on my mac aswell?

i don’t know for sure… but you can format it on windows & before copying any more data in it try ‘RECUVA’ to scan it and get back your data all if you are lucky…
