Formatting My Passport essential from mac to windows

Hello. I seem to be having alot of trouble formatting my external drive from mac to windows.

I tried to follow the instructions on this link but it wouldnt let me “Delete volume”

I called tech support but apparently my warrenty doesnt cover “free” tech support, I would have to pay $10.95 for help.

Please help. I installed new drivers and updated the firmware. 

I dont know what else to do :cry:

What version of Windows are you using? Maybe a third party tool will work better http://www.partition-tool.com/ they have a free one.

im using windows7… i’ll try that 3rd party partitioner

Did you have a password set on the drive?
