Okay, so we all know that the WD Smartware device wasn’t madee with a reset password option, but what I wouldlike to find out is, if the company would created a downloadable program to reset your password for those of us who have forgotten them.
If such tool was ever provided, bypassing the password would be extremely easy for those trying to break it, and since creating a password requires for you to check a box that says the data is unrecoverable if the password is lost then I don’t think WD will do something to fix user errors.

It has been over one year since I needed the password and like most, I have long forgotten it. I can’t connect to it when I just installed the thing on my Ipad.
I think I’ll try to format the drive. If that doesn’t work, I guess the TV Live Hub will be usless.
