i have 50 folders on my clip+, of those, only 23 show up on the clip+ even though I can see all in windows explorer.I named one of these folders “CDs”.in this folder, i put 20 in sub folders.it all looks fine in windows explorer.on the clip+, the “CDs” folder shows up as “new folder” (which is not the name of the folder) and i only see about half of the subfolders.

My guess is that you are using MTP mode for the USB mode. The best idea is to format the player using the player’s menu (deleting all the files on it. I assume you have copies on your pc. Copy the sample songs on the player to your pc first if you want them), then set the USB mode on the player to MSC, then connect it to the pc, and transfer the files again.
