FM radio started “auto-scanning” every 10-12 seconds. I’ve deleted all pre-set stations; reset device to Factory Settings but it still is auto-scanning. Any suggestions? I’ve searched in manual for a solution. Love my Fuze 4GB hate to replace it…
Hate to say it, but it sounds like the tuner chip has gone bad. I’m afraid your only choices are to either not use the radio, or buy a new player.

Did you try downloading the firmware and manually installing it on the player? Perhaps the firmware in the player might have become corrupted? That is about the only thing that makes sense trying.
