Just wondered if anyone knows what happens to files on a returned faulty Flash Drive that cannot be accessed by customer?
Are they viewed by SanDisk if possible, deleted automatically or is flash drive automatically destroyed?

Destroying the flash drive without trying to view any files would be the most ethical thing to do but would be nice to hear from SanDisk as to what their actual policy is.
