FAT is corrupted, please connect devise to PC and...

I have had a sansaclip + for a while and found I was running out of room/space.

So I went to amazon and bought a 16GB card. http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk%C2%AE-microSDHCTM-8GB-Memory-Card/dp/B0012Y2LLE/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1389296334&sr=8-9&keywords=sansa+clip+%2B+card

Then I turned on my sansaclip, put in the card into the slot. Then it said it was refreshing my media. then froze. I turned it off. Then turned it back on. And the error message showed up: “FAT is corrupted, please connect devise to PC and…”

Plleeeease help.

Please try reformatting the microSD card.  If that doesn’t fix matters, you may need to reformat the player as well.

If you have a card reader, or can see the card from the computer by connecting the Clip+, try checking out the card for defects. In the computer, right-click on the card and go to Properties/Tools (tab)/Error-checking.
