I wanted to know if there is a way / location to download the factory installed files on a My Book 2TB. Using the utilities tool to erase the drive did not place these files back on the drive afterwards as I expected. I am mostly interested in the autorun / inf and ico files. Thanks.

You can find all the files that came with your drive in the WD’s support website.
If you share the exact model number of your drive I will post the direct link.

The autorun and ico files are not listed when I look for them under downloads.
