extreme ssd useless for win xp?

no trim or garbage collection for this ssd in win xp, so performance degradation makes it not worth buying?

Windows XP does not provide the TRIM command, only Windows 7 does, not a fault of a SSD.

Garbage collection is a function of a SSDs firmware, which of course all modern SSDs have. Why do you think there is no GC on this SSD?

XP also won’t align the OS installation correctly, which is necessary for best performance. XP is ancient for SSDs, and it’s not their fault.

some other brand has a trim tool that works on xp. no mention of gc in drive specs. xp still used on 30% of computers, alignment is easy.
