Extreme SSD T2 cable lost

Hi, I lost the cable of my SSD. I used another ordinary phone cable but the SSD isn’t even detected. Does SSD work with ordinary Type C connector or is my SSD just not working?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Some phone cables are charge only and lack data pins. Try a normal data cable.

SSDs typically work with ordinary Type-C connectors, but compatibility can vary. It’s possible that the specific cable you used may not be compatible or faulty. Try using a certified USB Type-C cable or the original cable that came with the SSD to ensure proper connection and determine if the SSD is functioning correctly.
