I got a Extreme Portable SSD. It has poor performance :
Disk used > 90 %
Average response time > 500 ms
Read speed ~ 5 Mo/s
What solutions to obtain better performances ?
Regards.

@Gtrioreau 90% full can also cause poor performance.

Hi,
Thank you for your Answer.
I don’t believe I’m in one of the situations described in your knowledge base article.
The only improvement would be to format the Sandisk SSD in NTFS, but I’m reserving this solution as a last resort.
I compared the performance of the SanDisk SSD with that of another Crucial x6 SSD, looking as the display of File Explorer :
the SanDisk reads at a speed of several Mo/s, while the Crucial SSD reaches several tens of MO/s, for the same files transfer to a directory outside the tested SSD.
I also observed a significant performance difference when testing both SSDs with the AS SSD Benchmark software (see results in the attached file).
How can such a difference (a ratio of 1 to 10) between the two SSDs be explained, and how can the SanDisk SSD’s performance can be improved ?
Thank you in advance.

I think formatting the Sandisk SSD to NTFS should help to improve the transfer speed. If the speed still does not improve after formatting, try the following steps:
