About two days ago my WD external hard drive stopped recognizing my files i.e.; movies, photos & music. However when I check the properties on it, it still shows the memory being used up??? Where and what do I need to do to restore my drive to gain access to my 1000’s of files???
Satrt off by posting What drive and OS you are using. I think in the Passport section at the top is a sticky with things you can check yourself.

My OS is Vista and the Hard drive is a Western Digital 1 tera bite…
