HELP!
About a year about my WD 250GB Essential My Book Hard Drive stopped my PC working - it crashes any Windows Programs that are open. The Green Light on the WB Hard Drive Button still comes on, and having just tried it with a Chrome Notebook even that can read the contents of the External Hard Drive. I’m assuming it is the Software that makes the Hard Drive work with the PC, so there must be a conflict. Can you please direct me to the right drivers please as I don’t want to do anything that might compromise the data/photos on the external drive.

I get this message when I now plug the USB in.

G:/ Is not accessible

Hi:

That happened to me a while ago… something that you can do is to download a software to test if the drive has bad sector… Here is the link…

If your external hard drive has bad sectors this software will help to fix it…
