Erased Partition by accident and erased VCD. Now nothing comes up when I plug in my Mybook

Hi, there.

Please help me out.

So, originally  I had two partitions showing up in my PC.

E: (VCD)  - with quick formatter and stuff

F: - What I assume the real hard drive

I need to use it with a linux device so i had to get rid of the VCD and format it to FAT32.

I went to Disk Management on my PC and erased the F drive by accident. 

For no clear reason, I decided to proceed with what i have to do anyway without recovering the F drive.

I found a way to disable the VCD and did so, and now nothing comes up.

How do I reverse all of this and properly make this HDD work for Linux devices?

If you look in the drive specs Linux is not listed as a supported drive. Sometimes they work in Linux and sometimes they don’t.  Did you try formatting on a Windows PC or the Linux?
