Hi everyone, I hope someone can help. I recently deleted about 6 months of back up on my WD Passport Ultra, but when I come to empty the trash, I keep seeing messages that certain files are in use and can’t be deleted. I’ve rebooted my Mac with the drive still attached and tried again, but the same messages keep showing.
So, at the moment, the trash in my hard drive is still full and I can’t see a way of deleting!
Hi. On the last backup I did, there is a folder which looks like a shortcut (it has the shortcut symbol), I deleted that and a few older backups which I didn’t want and then the trash deleted.
