Element Drive recognized on Linux, but not Win10 or MacOS

I have an older Element External drive, the one that has a power plug in. Tried to connect it to my Win10 computer and it does not recognize it. I can find in the control panel under devices, and in disk management, but all options are greyed out. Tried downloading the WD Drive Utilities, but it does not find it. Tried on my Mac computer and same thing. However, when plugged into my Linux computer, I’m able to read it. How do I fix this so it’s readable everywhere? Format is not an option as I want to preserve the data. Thanks

Hello,

Please refer to the following KBA article: Cannot Find My WD Drive on Windows or macOS

I think it bad Firmware problem or head. Try to recording hdd spin sounds then plugged hdd. Post sounds file.

Seems like I have no volume on the disk. Since I can access info thru Linux, I’m planning on copying the data over, and just reformatting. I tried some data recovery software, and am able to access the data as well. After spending some time on the internet, I couldn’t find any way to fix the missing volume issue.
