Drivers for Sandisk SDCZ36-002G-A11

Trying to upload a Ford SYNC upgrade and during the transfer to the SYNC a message comes up that there is no media on the flash card. Ford suggests a new driver for my Sandisk  SDCZ36-002G-A11  4 gig,  but I can’t seem to find a driver, not even on the Sandisk site. Would be grateful for any help. Thank you

this device does not have any drivers. it is plug and play with all supported operating systems. if you could give some more details about what you are trying to do it would be helpful.

Does the Ford Sync system look for media in  the root directory only?  What type of media files do you have on your Cruzer?

It may be looking for MP3 files with proper ID3 tag data.

Automotive systems can be picky, as their OS is rather basic.

I guess the OP is trying to update the SYNC software itself using the FD. This FAQs link might help.

If you have something relevant to say about this subject, say it.

Otherwise, please find a chat room. Or at the very least, the Off Topic/Anything Goes board.

I have an older emachine computer–it says that it does not recognize the new hardware.  It recognizes the other travel drive I have–but not this one.  That is why I thought there was a driver that my computer needed to recognize this drive–but I guess it does not.  Any thoughts to getting my computer to recognize it??

Is your older eMachine running Windows 98?

Thouggh its too late, I just want to thank you because I found the answer to my problem in upgrading and ttransfering the SYNC… Thank you so much you guys…Are you still active?I’m just new looking for new ideas and solutions.
