Drive is disconnect automatically sometimes when using usb 3.0

my 1 Tb portable drive is stop copying and disconnect automatically when I am using 3.0 port in my laptop. but when I use 2.0 its not happening . why?

Hello,

Make sure you update the USB 3.0 drivers on your computer. Also if possible try another USB 3.0 port and also another USB 3.0 cable.
