I just downloaded the new Firmware/Software Update (WD Smartware v1.2.1.26) and now my Backup and Retrieve tabs are greyed out. The only thing it’ll allow me to do is access the Home tab which shows me what’s on my Hard Drive… and Set Up Software on the Settings Tab… the Drive Settings Button is greyed out as well on the Settings page.
What kind of info do u need from me?
Called in and got it fixed. Took a couple shut downs unplugging power and usb. PC wasn’t recognizing the device any more. All set now… thanks WD phone support
