Does the Extreme USB 3.0 have garbage collection in its controller? If so, does it operate as long as it’s powered-on or does it require a shove (and what would that be)?
When an Extreme USB 3.0 starts to act up – for example, slow read-writes or freezing during operation – what is the best cure: DBAN single-pass wipe, full format, fill with data and erase, or something else?
