Do My Book Duo support ULTRASTAR DC HC500 series drives?

I bought a 16TB My Book Duo last year, and recently plans to upgrade it.

I know it’s installed RED drives primitively, but I decide to install two 14TB Ultrastar HC530 drives.I don’t know if the encloesure support it, and I can’t find any same or relevant cases either.

Well, no one seems to care about this question.But the good news is that Duo does SUPPORT HC500 series drives. At least, it support 10TB Ultrastar HC510. Because I deliberately emptied one of my HC510 drive for testing, and the result is DUO PERCFECTLY SUPPORT IT.

I’m glad to be able to upgrade my Duo to 2×14TB Ultrastar HC530, the reliability should be greatly enhanced.

Hopefully my test will help others who think like me.
