deleting problem

I accidently added too many songs onto the mp3 and then disconnected. Now when I try to turn it on it wont work and when I plug it into my comp so that I can try to delete some stuff the folders and rhapsody both say that theres nothing on the mp3

Any help would be appreciated

sounds like the database may be corrupted. format it and reload the files.
