Default password required

since one month without problem but since 10/11//11 it was stuck while working. I unplug the USB cable wrongly since that device is not showing in my computer. it is showing locked in device manager and some time showing message data protected, it is asking me password for unlock in setting of WD software which i did not set ever and may be its default password and could not find in manual.  could you provide me as soon as possible if any set for above model because my work is suffering being it.

Dude, there is NO default password. If you got this problem after you disconnected the drive improperly as you state then it got damaged and/or corrupted and is asking for a password because of this.

You’ll have to format the drive.
