Very good question, I’m hoping my SDCZ880 will be as reliable as my Corsair Voyager GT’s have been. I’ve noticed over the years that many usb devices and cables have very poor connectors with too thin if any gold coating on the contacts so they wear out and fail quickly, yes when sourcing connectors for production purposes you can choose how thick the gold plating is !
