I had both the best and worst customer support today from WD. the level one support I recieved today was fantastick very helpful!

The level 2 technical support call to California was terrible. They don’t care - telling me “it is all my fault for trying to do something the system can’t do and the only option is to find additional software to fix my problem”. The guy on the phone could care lees and was a pompous A??.

I want to create a windows image on either my “MY Book” or My “My cloud” and they say it can’t be done using their software. Their software only backs up data files not “software files”.

I am so angry right now - I will never buy another WD product again and I am going to tell everybody I meet this BS issue! What really erks me is the tone of the customer service rep - very pompous and - “we have millions of products and never have this problem with windows 7 professional”!

The forums on WD and Microsoft sites say different and for him to say he has never heard of it is unbelievable.

You guys need to tell people that your system has limitations and can’t do all that it leads you to believe it can!!! I would not have bought it!!

I spent alot of money for this **bleep**!!

The Smartware that comes with these drives does not create an image. It only backs up select files there are a few free programs that make images, Macrium, Paragon and EaseUs all have free versions.
