Trying to install 16 GB Cruzer on Compaq Presario, Windows XP. Get error message-“To run this application, you must first install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v2.0.50727. Contact your application publisher for obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework.”

I have not yet tried SanDisk support.

Not sure what application you’re referring to but .NET is a Microsoft product.  You need to check there for updating your XP system.

I have the Window 7 operating system in my laptop.  When I searched for the driver, the answer was none.  How can I make it work in my laptop?

If it’s Windows 7 64 bit you probably can’t.  The specs for that drive do not mention Windows 7:
