Cruzer Edge 16GB mess up

Hello,

I have messed up a SanDisk Cruzer Edge 16GB

I did not use U3 Launchpad Removal Tool nor u3-tool

I have had the bad idea to use Linux Fdisk

and so I ended up using HPUsbDisk tool to get a properly partitioned and formatted drive

Now LPInstaller.exe does not recognize my U3 device anymore

Windows XP SP3 format nor DiskManagement tool can’t handle it correctly anymore

Is there a way to fix the content of the first track (0-62 512 bytes sector) and get LPInstaller.exe to work? Is there something to erase completely and fix the corrupted u3 flash drive?

Thanks

Yes, you have.

"Is there a way to fix the content of the first track (0-62 512 bytes sector) and get LPInstaller.exe to work? Is there something to erase completely and fix the corrupted u3 flash drive?"

Not that I am aware of.

I guess a quick reformat will be needed here.
