On connecting the penddrive to any computer/laptop it ask to format the disk.After formatting the disk on the same computer/laptop and copying the data,if connect the pendrive to other computer/laptop it ask to format the disk again.So unable to copy the data from one computer/laptop to other.
If you can still find the icon “Removable Disk”, try a data recovery software.
After retrieving the data, you may try to format your flash drive by using Disk Management.
I think this might be a dead stick. Has this unit been dropped by any chance? Or were you able to use this in the past? I just hope that you still have warranty for this.

:smileyvery-happy: Dropping doesn’t hurt solid state devices. Neither does washing machines and dryers. 
Not disagreeing the unit sounds like it should be replaced.
