Converting Quicktime .mov files to the Fuze

Hi

I have the Sansa Fuze, which is great, I have a few Apple quicktime files I wish to load onto the Fuze, but when I try I get the following message in Windows XP…

This file, c:\documents and settings\owner\desktop\diff codecs.mov, cannot be imported please install the correct codec first. If the files can playback on your computer, proberly SANSA MEDIA CONVERTER does not support this format or the file is corrupted.

Can you please help me…

Thanks

Can your computer play the files?

You could use Media Coder to convert them to .avi, something Sansa Media Converter likes better.

Or you could try the unofficial but widely loved video4fuze.

Hi

I have a macbook pro laptop, with Quicktime files that are encoded in the H264. mov format, which is a apple standard…

The problem is I have XP2 running in Parallels for Desktop on the Macbook pro…

The windows XP2 does not playback the .mov files…

To what should I change the .mov files too?

Thanks

Does the XP side have Quicktime installed? It’s not part of Windows–you need to get the Windows version from Apple. See if installing Quicktime will play them on XP.

Or try converting to .avi.
