Convert videos without connected Fuze?

Hi there,

is there a way to trick the SMC so I could convert without the Fuze conneted to the PC.

I would like to convert some videos in advance (e.g. a whole season of Simpsons) but don’t want to waste too much space on the player.

Unfortunatly, NO The fuze needs to be plugged in for SMC to work. I was unsure so I tried it, and I got nothing. I would suggest a program like WinAvi, to convert the videos to the same files as SMC does, The specs are avalible. Im not sure I could stand an entire episode of the simpsons at the screen size of the Fuze let alone an entire Season (I had to buy a 72" tv for my simpsons and family guy habbits)
