continuous loop indefinately

Running a Clip+ as a  background noise machine that loops over a single noise file. Clip+ has most recent firmware.

All is OK for several days but then stoppages occur and untimately the clip+ will freeze and/or behave erratically. Remedy is to reformat disk … this a not acceptable.

Same problem occured with previous Clip+, which I though was defective because of this problem.  Was replaced under warranty but replacment has identical problem.

I bet it can be reproduced on any 4Gb Clip+.

Never heard of this, but then again, I guess few people run the clip+ longer than the battery lasts.  

You could try rockbox I guess.

It’s plugged into an AC adapter.

If you have a spare Clip+… give it a try and report back next week!
