Connecting Sansa e250 to my audio equipment via USB port

 Hi

Connect my sansa e250 to my Denon amp via USB only plays audio file from fixed drive will not play anything from micro sd expansion port why ? Using sansa software E250 01
May I just say good quality is obtained through the USB port and I can use Denon remote control

When connecting sansa e250 through USB port denon amp using rock box will not work
Will only pick up through ¼ inch stereo jack but will play tunes from both drives

Help

Is the player in MSC mode?

I’d be pretty surprised if theres many amps smart enough to handle multiple drives per USB port in MSC mode.  These are usually really simple devices.  Maybe try MTP mode and see if that works any better if you haven’t.

Thats a little weird.  Most software can’t really tell the difference.  Does your denon normally work in MSC mode or just MTP?

Hi

Yes I should of said Sansa unit in MSC mode if I put into MPT mode denon amp will not read from sansa e250 comes up with disconnect.
I know this is not very trivial. I have just purchased a sansa fuse with more memory, but I just wondered if there was any way to be able to have access to the micro SD card as well.
Thanks for replying.
