Hi shaul19, your problem should be easy to fix from the disk management. Check the link below for the knowledge base article with the steps.

Does this fix last if you remove drive or drives then reconnect?
Joe
Have bought 2x MyBook 3TB, connected one then the second, had this stupid issue :
Microsoft Windows [version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. Tous droits réservés.
g:\>vol
Le volume dans le lecteur G s'appelle My Book
Le numéro de série du volume est D8D9-4ABE
g:\>h:
h:\>vol
Le volume dans le lecteur H s'appelle My Book
Le numéro de série du volume est D8D9-4ABE
h:\>
Wasn’t aware that such a simple solution existed in the first place (why cannot Windows solves it automatically ?) so I tried changing the hard disk serial with the sysinternals’ volumeid utility with no success (obviously the GPT’s fake MBR is read only)
So I tried formating with the installed WD Quick Format utility, now I have a 2.7TB RAW partition Windows refuses me to format back to NTFS. Even from within ‘diskmgmt.msc’, ‘cmd/format’ or Explorer.
How to restore my second hard disk ?
Kochise
PS : BTW, why using the same signature for all of your hard disks ?
@ Joe_S,
Yes, that should be a permanent solution once you do it.

Thanks for repling. There is a manual fix but it looks a bit long for a lot of those not very computer savy.
