I have recently purchased a My book. It seems to be doing what is says on the can but if I turn the computer off overnight and then turn on again in the morning the computer runs very slow for several hours - the external drive appears to be “categorizing files”. If the computer is left to go into hibernating mode overnight this doesn’t happen. Is this what I should expect? I have set backup to take place when the computer is idle. OS is Vista Home Premium.
