Hi I own a Sansa Clip for about 2 months now, it’s been working fine but one day it just dies on me. When I plug it into my computer, it displays properly (all the Connected, transferring status etc.) but when it is unplugged, I am unable to power it on. I tried holding the power button for 10 sec but that method doesn’t seem to work and it just doesn’t power on. can somebody help me on this? thanks a lot.
Try holding the power button longer. I’ve heard of it taking up to 40 secs. to reset before.
Could be a battery lead let go.

True. Hopefully not, but could be.
I second the battery terminal. I just had to fix mine and that’s what the problem was.
