Clip+ Dieing within a minute

My wife and I purchased 2 8gb Clip+'s recently. Mine has been working like a dream and I absolutely love it. My wife’s was fine until this weekend when it started acting up, and we really aren’t sure what’s causing it.

When she goes to listen to it, after having charged it for several hours and with the screen showing a full battery, the battery indicator suddenly shows low battery, then the line through the battery, and then it just shuts off. This whole process takes under a minute.

Any suggestions?

Call SanDisk Tech Support. They’ll have you jump through all kinds of flaming hoops first, but I suspect it’s a bad unit and they’ll probably end up replacing it for you under warranty.

Try to exchange it at the store you bought it at. If that doesn’t work, then contact Sandisk for an exchange.
