Clip Case!

Hello all!

I just go this in the mail from All Electronics’ fine website:

http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/CSE-82/PADDED-MINI-POUCH/1.html

It is a padded mini-pouch bearing the lovely SanDisk logo.  I got it to carry my Clip on car trips where I don’t need my headphones.  It’s an extremely tiny zippered pouch with an attached keyring.  The inside has two plastic-backed mesh pouches I presume are for SanDisk SD cards.

The pouch only holds my Clip and nothing else, but this is exactly why I got it.  The pouch was only fifty cents, but shipping was seven dollars.  Yet, it took me just a few days to get it from California to where I live in Texas.

All in all, a very cool little item!

I’ll post some pics of the pouch and my Clip soon.

Thanks,

Brad

Nice find–too bad that the shipping is so much (which is just silly–U.S. postage would be $1-2).

Yeah, Miikerman, that shipping is way too much, but I just couldn’t pass up on it.

Pics are still forthcoming.

Brad

Here are some pics my Clip with the SanDisk mini-pouch.  I apologize for the quality of the pics.

The SanDisk logo is on both sides of the pouch, too.  And like I said, you really can’t carry anything else in the pouch, but it’s great if you just want to store and protect your Clip by itself like I did.

Thanks,

Brad

Do you have a second skin on your Clip?  Interesting look.

Thanks.  I use a black silicone skin I got from meritline.com and a ScreenPatronus screen protector I cut to size.

Brad

Thanks for the further pictures–a nice and perfectly small pouch for the Clip!  It’s on my list of to-do’s.

No problem.  If I keep finding stuff for my Clip I’ll keep posting it here!

Brad

I ordered this case on Friday and received it today (3 days later, after the weekend); a nice neoprene-type fabric case (not overtly rubbery), just the right size to transport a Clip (just slightly bigger than the Clip; basically, slightly bigger than the heighth of the Clip for both heighth and width)–good find!

I can see a number of uses for the case apart from for the Clip, for small items–e.g. for memory cards, spare AA batteries (perfect size for 4), earbuds, etc.  And so once I was ordering and paying the $7 shipping, I ordered a few extra (at a whopping $.50 each).

As HulkSmashNow/Brad noted, recommended as well.

Miikerman,

That’s great to hear.  And I wish I had got more than one, too!

And _ many _ thanks, again, for this find!

Really, at this minimal cost, SanDisk would have been well-served to include the tiny case in with the Clip originally (and should be selling it at the SanDisk online store)–it’s great protection for the Clip, as well as advertising for SanDisk.

I agree, this case would be splendid if packaged with the Clip.  I’m getting a handful of them for my daughters wee Clips, amd they’re nice to store spare earbuds in too.

I am going to experiment with a plastic insert for µSD card storage, time to invest in a new batch of plastic sheets.  I’m making a µSD sandwich with a hard shell, I think.

You guys are more than welcome.  I’m just glad I could help.
