Clip 1GB Does not work - with a twist

Okay,

I can not turn the clip on; however, I can connect it via USB and transfer files to my hearts content.

As soon as I unplug it from the USB however and try to turn in on - nothing.

Any ideas?

Yes,  you need to charge it.  Leave it connected to the Computer for a while.
